David C. Wenholz
Mr. Wenholz has been practicing law for over 30 years. He concentrates on helping ordinary people and small businesses understand their rights and solve their legal problems.
Being the first lawyer on either side of his extended family, Mr. Wenholz knows firsthand how folks feel about lawyers and their perceptions of our justice system. This background has shaped the way advice and counsel are given at the firm – straightforward, practical, and respectful. Mr. Wenholz firmly believes that the lawyer and client should be a team, with the lawyer clearly understanding his role to be honest and professional and to fully inform the client so the client can make sound decisions about his or her case.
Mr. Wenholz and his family are fully entrenched in the Austin way of life. He is also an animal lover, the proud owner of dogs, cats, and horses. Mr. Wenholz is also a Board member of the American Red Cross-Central Texas Chapter.

Daniel Smith
Daniel is a proud Austinite. He left Austin to attend the University of California Santa Barbara, and then taught English for a year in Granada, Spain before returning home to attend the University of Texas School of Law.
His last year of law school he attended University of Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, Spain where he received a L.L.M. and drafted a thesis on the differences in consumer arbitration in the E.U and the United States.

Alberto De La Torre
A Texas native, Alberto de la Torre studied political science at St. Edward’s University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude.
During this time, he was selected for the Thomas M. Keel Scholarship, which placed him with the Texas Legislative Budget Board, and the Moreno Rangel Scholarship, where he served as a legislative aide during the 80th Texas Legislative Session.
Prior to joining Levine, Wenholz, and Smith, PLLC, Mr. de la Torre practiced Social Security Disability Law succeeding in hundreds of claims all over Texas.
